IV.Campaign period: An Environmental Problem

by PonCo,

Campaign period has begun and candidates are doing there best in campaigning. However, this campaign period has created a lot of waste. Those illegal posters and streamers are making Metro Manila ugly. Metro Manila Development Authority, or MMDA, is exerting a lot of effort in order to remove these posters and streamers that uglifies Manila. They have shredded a lot of illegal campaign posters. However, these posters just create trash which uglifies Metro Manila more. It is ironic that one of the platforms of these candidates is to improve the environment while they are the ones who destroy the nature.

Also, they are wasting a lot of trees for the production of these huge illegal posters and streamers. Trees are very important in our environment. They have contributed a lot in shaping our ecology of our planet. It provides habitat and food for small animals. And now, they cut many trees to create these useless trash. Is this how we thank Mother Earth for what she has given us? She gave us this wonderful place to live and we, who should be taking care of what she has given us, forgot its value.

Philippine election is not about campaign posters and commercials. It is on the duty. You do not need those campaign posters if you earn the trust of people and make them believe that you can perform your job well.
